Evidence, not a guarantee.

Cloud Exit Evidence helps inspect a local copy. It does not create, repair, or guarantee a backup.

Use

The software and website are provided free of charge under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, and redistribute the software subject to that license.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for choosing trustworthy manifests, maintaining independent versioned media, protecting report passphrases, and testing actual restores. A “ready” result means the supplied evidence matched at audit time; it does not prove future recoverability or identify files omitted from the provider’s own listing.

No warranty

The software is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, its authors are not liable for data loss, service interruption, or other damages arising from its use.

Changes

Material changes are recorded in the project changelog and this page’s effective date. The repository history remains the authoritative public record.
